Johnstown-Northridge Swim Team is a newly established non-profit corporation aimed solely towards providing swimming instruction and competition for Johnstown and the surrounding areas. We are an age-group swim team with members ranging from 5 years to 18 years old. Founded by Head Coach Rachel Furr, JNST hopes to encourage involvement in the sport of swimming by providing an opportunity for kids to start at a younger age.

Our home pool is located at the Johnstown Skate-n-Swim in Johnstown, OH.

JNST was started in the spring of 2017 due to an overflow of interest from the Northridge Middle School and High School teams. Rachel has been the head coach of the Northridge program since 2013 and has seen a tremendous amount of growth in the program. Her team had expressed interest in continuing their training through the summer months and because there was no summer swim team in the Johnstown area, Coach Rachel began the process of establishing one.

The goal of this team is to provide a fun, learning atmosphere where kids, both new to the sport and veterans, can continue to grow their love of swimming. It is an individual, as well as a team sport, that instills lessons of dedication, competition, teamwork, hardwork, and passion. All of which JNST hopes to bring to all of its members
